Maybe last week, week before. I don't remember anymore. I have so lost track of time now!
This is a Color Blocks series collage called Frosted Meatloaf.
This started with a vintage picture I got in a scrapbook I bought. I blew it up and manipulated it in Photoshop first, then on the copy machine.
Then I painted it.
The green and white is fabric. The other images are from 50's and 60's magazines.
The background is acrylics, both regular and fluid.
Such fun these are to create!
On the home front news...I'm off to my daughter's to pick up her wedding gown and the bridesmaid gowns today! Heather opted to have the lacy bits from my gown sewn onto her gown and then the whole thing over dyed to bring the total brightness down. She's a redhead with very fair skin and the super white just didn't look right on her. The maid of honor and bridesmaids all got to pick out their own dresses and then they were dyed to match. That way everyone got a dress to suit them, and Heather still gets her color! Very fair I thought. I also got my dress yesterday, and that was fun, with Heather helping.
So now I'm going back to my Color Blocks for a while then off to the big city for some wedding fun!
