This is a repost of the painting from October 28th. I had to do it for two reasons.
1. I didn't ever publish it for sale... and I changed the name.
2. This photo of it is more true life as far as color is concerned. The Oct. version is off color-wise.
I have new led lights set up in the studio now, and have found my hookup for between the camera and the tripod. I have sone some figuring out on the settings of my camera to make the color more correct. Not to mention this painting is dry! That certainly helps tons!
But you should open up the link and compare. It's amazing what a few little changes can make in a photo.

ReplyDeleteThanks Barb. Yes, I really wanted to get that feeling of the glass knife with the pattern showing a bit on the back. The way the light was hitting it, the back pattern didn't show up very well, but sorta was just hinted at.
ReplyDeleteI know Renate... that's the reason I reshot the photo. Really messing around with the dials of the camera has helped my paintings be more true life in terms of color now.
