I bought a whole scrapbook of really great South American photos for only $5.00 on our Asheville trip & decided to take one out & mess around with it. The first thing that came to mind was cropping it down to just this lady then printing it out. I used oil pastels to add punches of color back into the darkest shadows and into where some of the color was supposed to be and to me "seemed to be".

Even though it's not hot this week where I am, I thought I'd give a nod to the heat of summer with my journal page.   Quite a few years ago, I was lucky enough to go with my daughter to Europe on one of those "If it's Tuesday it must be Belgium" trips.
